Facebook issues - best way to solve a troll problem?

In your advertising/marketing, yes, if handled appropriately, the slogan, "Austrailia's Best Reptiles," can be a plus, of course. But for a forum of "peers" that you are asking for help/suggestions, I have to agree with Zadees, check your ego at the door. We don't care if you are the best in your field or if you are someone just starting your business. If you tell us right from the start that you are the best, and that we probably already know you, then what you are implying does not make a good impression on us before asking for our help. I run a very small business in a very small town, and even though I may be successful, the last thing I want to do is drive a Mercedes through town when all those that live around me are driving Fords. Of course, maybe Australians are different than Americans in that respect, but I'm thinking maybe not so much.

I obviously came across not as anticipated and thank you for the feedback.
To try to add context to the subject, snakes and snake handling and snake handlers is a very emotional field and most people in the game are obsessed with it, so it is more than a job.
As a result, most people in the game take it more seriously than perhaps in other professions and when the battles start, likewise.

Please don't include me in that collective "we". I personally appreciate the confidence it takes to make such a declaration. (as evidenced by my signature) Life is too short, imho, to concern ourselves with the insecurities of others. There are endless customers that will flock to the self aggrandizing claims of a business person. Again, I can personally attest to that.

Rick, thanks for your post.
It brings up two other issues a business may face, the latter one I rasei being our big issue.
As most businesses do, we try to please everyone all the time and generally succeed in pleasing most people most of the time.
In our business new players have made major inroads on us by calling our established clients and making false complaints with a view to encouraging them to switch.
The success of this method has encouraged them to continue this, now on one another!
