Website re-design review is needed

Amazing look & feel. Illustrations are awesome. Navigation is also very good - user friendly. I've not found your Robot.txt & sitemap/xml files.

The design between your home page and all other pages seems inconsistent. On your home page you have the dark red gradient background image with text over a semi-transparent body, but on all other pages that background image is seemingly gone and the text is over an all-white body stretched across the page. I'd bring the look of the home page to the other pages, with the text being over the transparent body.

One other item is that I really don't see the purpose of having both a "Products" section and a "Shop" section. Those two sections could be serving the same purposes: describing the product then giving you an option to buy. I think those two sections could be merged.

Also, for every product page I would recommend having those buttons be at the top of the product description as well as at the bottom. A very minute thing but another change I would implement is to place the "Purchase" button first.

On your news ticker on the top of your pages, consider changing the color of the text to white or a lighter gray. I can barely see it against that dark gray background.

One last thing I would recommend is to not have the shopping cart icon right next to the search bar. As it is now it seems like those two go together and that you're searching through your shopping cart instead of the site.

Overall, it's a good website. The typography, color scheme and imagery are very high points. Make a few modifications and it'll be good to go.

I like your banner slider but I'd recommend styling also the like and tweet buttons to suit your design. Just an opinion.

as stated above, I think there needs to be consistancy between pages, and products and shop shoulld be compacted into a single menu item. I also think the forum especially needs to be more integrated with the design. The shop page seems to have about 100px of white space between the header and the slider in FireFox 13 here which looks horrid.

While this is not redesign oriented, the 'dont push the button' button IMO would be better to be a konami code than a button

Let's start with the title of your website, when I accessed it the word Home and the domain name was all I could see. It is better if you modify the tag, use a few main keywords that clearly explain what the site is about. Some text messages are definitely missing on your homepage because currently, when people visit your site, although they will find some big graphics and images, but they will not have any clues what the subject of site is.

Is it a portal which offers free game downloads to the visitors, are there any reviews on the games? What are the platforms? These and so many other questions are raised after visiting your site and you should put some information about them. There is a lower right section "Our Games" which I believe should be moved to the top so that visitors notice and click on the image links. The latest news too should not appear at the footer area.
