According to comScore Inc., the number of Facebook users in the United States is up approximately 5 percent year-over-year. This is a substantial slowing of growth relative to prior periods.

Facebook has 850,000,000 users. Google + apparently has 250,000,000, and is adding about 500,000 per day. So if google plus kepp growing at their current rate they will need to add 600 million users, that means about 4 years to catch facebook.

The big issue for G+ is currently the average users spends 3.5 minutes per month on G+, whereas apparently the average is 7.5 hours per month - that is a massive gap.

the day google 'invented' objective search by link endorsement they created a monster that became the SEO industry that was my point, ever since then they have been trying to find ways out of the mess they created, and now they think social endorsement is the way forward, just throwing it out there for debate

But, that has made it subjective, not objective, which is why it's a mess; "social endorsement" will only make it more so.

Bluntly put, Google screwed the pooch.

Yes.. That's right. Facebook Groups doesn't have that much ease of what Google + interface is now and is not popular as facebook fan page. When Google + launched it was all messed interface I didn't have the idea how to use it at that time later on they are making it as more user friendly interface. Google as being as the technological leader and the platform most of the business depending on I still think that they have the chance

Carol Bartz was the president and CEO of Yahoo from 13 JAN 2009 to 06 SEP 2011.

Yahoo's troubles well preceded Bartz's tenure, dating back to when co-founder Jerry Wang was still at the helm.

Yes I agree your point. If Yahoo had the clear vision with the market analysis in the mid or early of the earlier decade, they would have been still remain as the Internet King or they have not been kicked out of waters at-least

I don't think FB will lose in popularity. They will constantly come up with new things to attract people, and i think they will quite successful at it like they have been till now.
