    Multiple Domains redirected to different pages helps in seo or not ?

    Hello Experts ,

    I am again here with a new question.

    Having a property portal , www[.]example.com .
    Its ranking is good in search engine .

    Now what i think , if i purchase multiple domains like ,

    www[.]example(cityA)[.]com
    www[.]example(cityB)[.]com
    www[.]example(cityC)[.]com
    www[.]example(cityD)[.]com
    www[.]example(cityE)[.]com

    and redirected to my main websites different pages like this ,

    www[.]example(cityA)[.]com ------>redirected to www[.]example[.]com/cityA

    www[.]example(cityB)[.]com ------>redirected to www[.]example[.]com/cityB

    Now my question is this is this helps me in search engine ranking more , and get more traffic ?
    how google take this ?

    Is there any issue of duplicate content on different website because www[.]example(cityA)[.]com and www[.]example.com/cityA both website having the same content.

    Please experts share your views and ideas .

    Regards

    What makes you think that it would, or should, help?

    If you understand how a page is ranked in the SERPs, then you will see that a plain domain with no content and no links and no social interaction will have no value. If a thing has no value then can redirecting it to another page have any value?

    If you own www[.]example(cityA)[.]com and redirect it to somewhere with 301 redirects
    a) There is nothing at that site to get ranked for to start with. (what Steve was refering to)
    b) You are only showing snoopy people that the domain name is taken.

    If you do the refresh redirect thing you are going to annoy the search engines.

    If they've any content at all, it will be invisible owing to the 301s.

    If the additional Domain Names are rich in keywords for which there are substantial search volume, then purchasing them, and forwarding them to a primary DN, can bring profitable traffic.

    It can help, but it depends on the history of the domain and it's link profile. If you have domains with a relevant previous history it can be quite powerful if it's link profile is good. If they're new domains, then it will be a waste of time because they won't have any previous history or link profile and therefore won't pass any benefit.

    Newly created DNs as just what are here contemplated by the OP.
