The answer to both questions is neither.

For any advertising, the results depend on the product/service being advertised, the demographics of the viewers of each advertising channel, and the competition within each channel.

There is no one channel that consistently outperforms all others in either impression rate, click-through-rate, conversion rate, cost-per-conversion, or ROI.

One can determine what works best under what circumstances only by adequate testing.

Its definitely Google as it drive more potential customers to your website. Google also provides various ways to run your campaign as Text ads, Image Ads, Rich Media Ads, Video Ads. When we compare it to facebook, facebook doesn't have as many options as Google to run your campaigns. Moreover, you can promote any legitimate business through Google but in facebook you can't do the same for any kind of legitimate business because facebook is being as a destination of entertainment rather business. I would recommend Google as first one to run your marketing campaign and facebook as your second level consideration.

    Balderdash. See post #11.

    Really?

In fact, Google's stance as to what is "legitimate" is arbitrary, capricious, and discriminatory.

Arbitrarily exclude Bing/Yahoo at your own risk.
