    How to Increase Facebook Likes!

This is just a thought... but... I wonder what the response would be if you had someone with a good solid e-mail list, e-mail their list for you.

All you would have to provide them with is a description of the page and an incentive to join.

Of course if you own the list you could imbed a Facebook badge so it would appear in your newsletters. But I wonder what type of increase you would see to the Facebook page and how many people you could get to stick around?

Have not tried emailing lists, but I am having decent luck with a new FB page by simply using FB ads at $10 a day in CPM mode. In the past week it has gone up over 1,000 likes above where it started thus far.

What are all the benefits from the likes?

likes beget likes from friends of those that 'like' your page, and in the end, links happen in other places when some of them like the link and post it on their sites. It's all about traffic really.

Unless you offer something valuable in return, people don't like your page.

    This works great.

The hard part without advertising is getting that first hundred, then 500 fans. With FB ads, you can set a budget and get the fans. Then as long as you are engaging and posting regularly, you will start getting shares of your FB updates which can help you get more fans with out advertising.

Thanks for the info. And I am curious, is there any reason to use one or the other FB modes for getting clicks? Seems in one mode, they charge for clicks, the other for impressions. Is one better for certain situations?

Not take my thought as negative, constantly interacting with your followers or call it a group, gives best results. I mean getting genuine, in subject, users are not very easy, but they are your juice.
