Get Rid of Wasted Time Once and for All

There's a lot of time I waste by reading someone’s blog to long, watching too many youtube videos or getting caught up in a conversion.

One of the worst feeling is where you feel like you didn’t get anything done.

    Well…I found the solution.

I read on a blog not long where they used a timer. They would set the timer to 40 min. and work straight none stop until the timer went off. Then they would reset the timer for 20 min. and do whatever they wanted.

I started playing with the timer about an hour ago and I am really getting a lot done. I’ll let you know how it works out but I am feeling really good about it at the moment.

I have two retired chess clocks (ex chess player). These are the the twin clocks with the button on top that chess player use to record the time used for the game. Any of the four faces can be started or stopped with the press of a button.

sometimes I find myself replying to an email saying something like. . "I will give you an hour" I often wonder if the person reading the email knows how precise my timing is. .

"Time and motion" observations and recording have always been a solid part of managing any type of business.

sometimes I think I need another pair of clock faces. (to total 6)

I do not time my time on WebPro World . . Although sometimes I do notice that none of the clocks have moved when I have been here a lot. . .

I think you're on to something. I find there are too many distractions during the day, be it the phone, email or something scheduled in outlook. Let us know how it works out for you. In the mean time I'm thinking of trying it too.

I have just started but was surprised at how much I've gotten done so far and how easy it is.

And yes I plan to use it here as well. (-:

Try it one day and look back at the end of the day and you will see a huge difference. At least I did.
