I do not think there is a good reason to find a list of best forums.

If you can submit a question and get it answered to your satisfaction, the forum you asked the question in should suit you perfectly well.

Many would be spammers tend to join multiple forums. . The end result is they are removed from the better forums and merely end up where they deserve to be. (as a crap poster in a crap forum wasting time and effort)

    the 'tip' you asked for?
Be honest, genuine, and ask questions after you have searched for answer and been unsuccessful.

Tips for proper forum posts :-
    • Read the forums rules and guidelines before posting for the first time
    • Use a meaningful title for your thread.
    • Stay on topic.
    • Do not use a forum to promote your product, service or business.
    • Search the other posts to see if your topic is already covered.
    • Ignore spammers, respond to them personally.
    • Do not use all caps or SHOUT in your posts.
    • Do not use someone else’s thread for a private conversation
    • Do not post content that violates a copyright.
    • Write concisely and do not ramble.
    • Do not chastise newbies.

This discussion is about what are deemed acceptable posting habits here at WPW, not techniques for getting links.

In fact, anyone who is here for the sole purpose of promoting other sites will be sorely disappointed, as such is gravely frowned on here.

Post useful replies to threads. Just don't force yourself to post for the sake of posting - only post when you have something useful to say

& in my opinion Identify a Feeling of Trust

If individuals on the community believe in you, your promotion ploys will not come across as weak efforts to promote your company. Try to respond to concerns on a community for per weeks time or so without placing any hyperlinks in at all. Then when you have some buddies or at least some associates on the community, you can put a weblink in the trademark of your feedback. That way you just look like every other community poster on there, not a spammer trying to get visitors to your company. With the right feeling of believe in, you may even get other individuals to suggest your website or solutions.

    Don’t Power the Links

A lot of individuals will try to gently toss in hyperlinks to their company in everything they create, but that usually comes across as a little anxious. Instead of doing that, just concentrate on having the weblink in your trademark. This will have the same effect on your off-site SEO, and it will allow individuals to actually study what you have to say.

@yourkrishna: What a nice positive spin you have put on it, without sharpening the point. Good points. We might have come right out and said, "don't spam us, please."

Just so folks are clear, I believe that what you are referring to as 'trademark' we here refer to as a 'signature.' Your points are well made, especially with regard to including hyperlinks in post body text. Big no-no for a new member. This will definitely mar the 'Feeling of Trust' you speak of.

You earned yourself some green with this post, even if it didn't add to your post count.
