For freelancers - Do you pay/report taxes?

I was wondering how many of you report taxes on work you do as a freelancer? Results are NOT public

Good luck getting an honest answer. Who is going to admit they do not pay their taxes? They'd be in court the next week, or at least in the throes of an audit. Tax evasion is tax evasion. Nobody is going to admit to that.

I know.. but I also know it's common. I was just curious about stats through the non-public poll

I stand corrected. Just checked in another browser without being logged in. The results are visible, but not the members who posted to the poll. These polls must have changed. It used to be you could see which members voted, but now you can't. I get the same results logged in as when not.

Thanks for confirming.. that was the only reason why I posted this and made it a poll.. I figured noone would want to "publicly" say anything.

IMO, any expectation of getting honest answers from those who practice tax evasion is most unrealistic.
