    Please Rewiew and Advise

ok, this may seem like a strange request but see if ya'all can help.

i am trying to convince an acquaintance that his webguys have overlooked a few very important factors and i could use some reinforcement from the pros here. i don't want to describe all the issues or explain how to fix them, i just need some pros to verify that they do exist and could easily be fixed.

there are several issues and i'm sure more will stand out to you guys than did to me, but if you could just take a quick look at www. montanacapeandfur .com on the main page and for starters (and without going into too much detail ;) ), say weather or not the meta tags are even close to being done correctly. if this site has a chance of showing up high in search results or not.

also, i have my screen set to 1024 x 768 and the header image is offset from the rest of the site, again i know the issue but need verified that this is something that any decent webguy should have taken care of.

also when i just tried to go to the site i received this error message: "Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): (08004/1040): Too many connections in /htdocs/www/classes/db/mysqli.class.php on line 22 Fatal error: Too many connections in /htdocs/www/classes/db/mysqli.class.php on line 24" ...could this be due to not enough bandwidth?

as always, any help is greatly appreciated.
    -Chris

really? nobody can take 2 minutes and help me out here? maybe point out that there are no description or keywords in the head? explain how this effects search results. or that the title is a waste as well but at least it's there. this is really surprising as usually the folks here are quick to help out...

Meta tags aren't going to help this or any site get high or first page positioning. Quality, quantity and properly configured backlinks will help.

    It renders fine for me.

also when i just tried to go to the site i received this error message: "Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): (08004/1040): Too many connections in /htdocs/www/classes/db/mysqli.class.php on line 22 Fatal error: Too many connections in /htdocs/www/classes/db/mysqli.class.php on line 24" ...could this be due to not enough bandwidth?

I do not suspect many members would want to review a site unless the sites creator/owner/webmaster asks for one.

The only way we can be of any help is if the proper people ask us, as it is they who will carry out the following of our suggestions. The only reason I can see for posting this Site Review post (in the wrong forum, I might add, which will be corrected momentarily) is that the OP is pissed he didn't get the job and just wants to denigrate the work of another, who will likely, in time, discover what flaws are in his work on his own, without somebody throwing them in his face.

I know how the OP feels, if this is in fact the case. It maddens me to see how people can be railroaded by their own ignorance, and go off and let their brother-in-law's cousin build them a crapolla site with FP. Nothing we can do. It's their boat. Let them row it. Move on to richer pursuits.

not pissed at all (i don't do this stuff for money). and no, i'm no pro by any means but there are a few issues that even i can see that need to be done, and weren't. i was trying to get this fellow a little info to take with him to his webguys. basic stuff like why are there no description or keywords, why the title contains "(Powered by Cubecart)", why the site has a 'CubeCart' favicon etc.

basically i just wanted a little verification that what i have been explaining to the fella so he can see that they have missed a few things. and these guys aren't even supposed to be the brothers sisters cousins, they are supposedly the best available to him where he lives.

It's still their canoe. We get nowhere being the 'I told you so' sort of person, so you really should let it go, or at most get the person to post the site. If you are not a stakeholder, then there is nothing you can do.
