Meta Tags Problem

Hi everyone, I joined this forum a few days ago and I need help with my meta tags. My affiliate site is powered by Wordpress and I'm using the theme Smallbiz. Smallbiz has an SEO option where you can directly add the tags in theme. I'm sure I enabled it and when I view page source I can't see the meta tags anywhere. I also tried analyzing my site with SEO tools online and the tags are also not detected. Please help me. My site is web-development-tools.com

You can check the header.php file/template in your wordpress admin panel. If you have little of HTML knowledge then you can add it by your self and there is no need to add any plugin for this.

Can't say I emphatically agree, but when so many of the top 'paid for' themes have it built it, you can believe it must be among the best.

All In One has a good rep ... if you have a Thesis theme for your site, you don't really need it ... and on the subject of meta tags ... you don't need the keyword metatag ... better to not use it in the wake of Penguin, IMO. Description is not of any SEO value, but it is HIGHLY important for click value. And the title tag, which is not strictly a meta tag, but it usually lumped in with them, remains important. Stick to 7- characters; and don't dilute it by putting a keyword twice. Put your company name last if at all.

Thank you for the help everyone. Problem solved. I replaced the Header.php file, good thing I had a backup. The problem was caused when I installed Webfire plugin in Wordpress and automatically edited the Header.php.
