    Google Reviews

Hi is there a way to add a link from a web site to my google reviews page, that shows the quality of the google review i.e. the customer ratings, stars with the link?

And can this be added to a meta tag so google reviews show on the page description - snippet of the page?

Thank you in advance for your replies

Sure, at top right on your Place page above the map is a link, copy that and add it to your web site.

"And can this be added to a meta tag so google reviews show on the page description - snippet of the page?"

No not really. Google stopped showing the meta description at all in local search results a couple months ago.

But unless you have problems with your Place page, Google will connect your site and Place page together and if you have the 5 gold review stars on your Place page they will automatically show up in the Google SERPS as well as the # of reviews.

So, you're saying by linking *from* your website to your Places review page it makes it more likely to have snippets of your reviews listed in the SERPs alongside your website, as part of the 'free listing?' I thought you had to have some sort of microdata formatted 'rich snippet' code on your website to have Google pick up reviews and place them in the SERPs ... please tell us more and / or show an example, please.

No sorry, that's not what I was saying. (Explanation at the bottom) And yes you are correct.

Here's an example of my #1 ranking for Google Places Optimization with the hreview snippets and gold stars.
http://img1.uploadscreenshot.com/ima...45550-orig.png (But that's a pure organic listing, not local.)

However Google is removing the review snippets lately. Mine come and go every day. Sometimes there and sometimes not.
BUT in local listings if there is a Place page attached I don't think she's showing the stars any more. I got some clients DOUBLE gold stars but Google has removed them.
All the other local pros I network with say the same happened to their local listings.

Explanation: I maybe misread the Q. Thought he was simply asking how to add a link on his site to his reviews page.

I don't want to hijack this thread so I started a new one on pulling Google rating stars into organic listings: http://www.webproworld.com/webmaster...ings-Local-SEO.

And I am not sure what the OP meant, but perhaps he wants to be able to have the stars display on his website in a widget? I would certainly love to be able to know how to do that if it's possible.

    Thanks!
