If everything will be free, how'll developers earn?

Another perspective to the topic can be it actually helps the phenomenal growth of web. People who are not that much into IT sector yet like in developing countries or those individuals who are not good enough financially now can use the freebies to get started only to later on move to professional services if their businesses succeed.

Consider the case of Google promoting open source or other free web services. It is simply working in its favour this or that. It is something like offering $100 Adwords coupon to test the waters and if found not suitable simply close the account/service use and if found worth given a try start spending in it to make more money from the same opportunity.
