Is Google dance is because of the algorithm changes?

    Hello all,

Sorry, if this questions looks funny.

What is the real cause for Google dance?

Is it happening because of the changes in the Google algorithm?

    Waiting for some responses.

    Thank you.

There really isn't a "Google Dance" anymore. We used to think of the "Google Dance" when there was a date and time when they started updating the search results. It would last a few days and then calm down a bit.

Now, there is no Google Dance anymore. They're constantly updating the search results. There are algorithm updates, like the Penguin update and the Panda update(s). The closest thing that I could call a "Google Dance" was the last major April 24th update.

Lot of Tech persons say that there is no Google Dance anymore. But what I feel is different. Because we have experienced it just a few days back. We have shocked that how drastically the ranks goes down. But after 3-4 days the ranking comes back. so Google Dance is a real thing.

so Google Dance is a real thing.
Yes, I agree that technically there is a "Google Dance", meaning that the rankings DO change.

But if you have been in doing SEO as long as I have, you'll know that there really isn't a Google Dance anymore in the traditional sense.

Google does "dance" constantly, all the time. So it's always dancing.

The search results are not set in stone, thats what you have to realize. The SERPS are constantly changing due to many reasons, including but not limited to: Google algorithmic changes (Panda, Penguin, etc), changes on your webpage, changes on other website webpages. Also, oftentimes, I find that a brand new website/webpage's position vacillates in the SERPS for no reason apart from it being "new".
