Here's another thread that I can't get to last page...

    http://www.webproworld.com/webmaster...Google-indexed

I can view/click to see page 1 and 2, but when I click on the page "3" link or "last page" link, I end up on page 2. Even when on the first page of the thread, if I click page 3 links or the "last" link I end up on page 2. Using IE 9 64-bit.

I've passed this along to the higher ups. I'll let you know what they say.

We've looked through the logs for your IP address and that url and it shows you as having seen the page 3. Do you use any kind of filtering system or ad blocker that would remove/block scripts from running?

Filtering or ad blocker? Not that I know of. I do have a popup blocker enabled, but unless there is something unique and specific about this one page, I don't see how I can view any other thread's page 3, 4 or beyond. You may recall I had the same issue with another thread's page three a little while back. I don't think it could be this one, but I will have a look back and see.

It's not a big deal Rah, just one of those things that make me go "hummmmm", is all.

We'll keep going over the error logs and things looking to see if it's happening to anyone else and what might be the problem. Just keep letting me know when you come across problems like this, what the time was, and what browser you were using please.

This thread I can only view page one, of two pages. When I click on page 2, I just end up staying on page one.

    32-bit and 64-bit versions of IE 9.

Again, Chrome works fine. I didn't look at the two pages but there must be something in common with only those two pages to negate me navigating to page 3 in each case.

Update: Rah, you mentioned the logs indicate I've been on page 3 on the other threads. That's probably correct. I must have visited that thread page via the link in a reported post, which seems to be the only way to navigate to internal pages on some of the threads I am having issues with.

In fact I have the same issue with this thread below. However, on clicking on a reported post link to a post on page two on the thread below, I navigate directly to the post in question on page two. This is the recent thread: http://www.webproworld.com/webmaster...649#post616649

But - when on page 2, if I click the page 2 link - I go to page 1. While on page 1, if I click page 2 link, I stay on page 1. Again, it's not all threads, just the odd one for some reason.

Aside: I've noticed some indexes (member posts) indicating more pages, but then nothing is there when one navigates to them. It will read, 1 to 20 of 72 posts, and yield 'nothing to found to match query.' Refresh the index and it shows, '1 to 20 of 20 posts showing.'

Things are starting to look better, Rah, but there are still quite a few lags, and the occasional 'leave this page' prompt. On the whole, things are much more stable, and quicker. Pat on the back to you and your IT team.
