    BTW, the delays in indexing began well before this Google announcement, with WMT showing that Google was running in circles, constantly reloading sitemaps, queuing them for processing, and then starting all over again.

    I have had other websites sitemaps submitted and accepted in 1-3 hours between Jan 2011 and March 2012. Most, if not all pages were indexed for those sites. (I have 20+ sites). This latest retarded acceptance of sitemaps and indexing has me a little worried. Everything is ok I'm sure, but it's very disconcerting when you can see obvious differences in speed and acceptance into the Google galaxy.

    Be that as it may, others, including myself, have observed such earlier problems as I've related.
