Do you feel like Google’s new rules are unfair?

These are the kinds of questions that keep me up at night. I’ve known too many good people suffer at the hands of Google’s new rules.

I want to Know about secrets.

There is only one way (besides working at Google) to learn the secrets.

    Test
    adjust
    test some more

Google's rules are only unfair if you allow Google to define the rules for you. If you choose to run your website and business by the rules that are best for you, then Google is irrelevant.

You're right, Overstock.com, BMW, JCPennney, none of those sites were worth anything anyway so who needs them.

So as long as they get the spammers the innocent ones that scooped up as well, well, that's tough luck? Did you see the hundreds of sites that got deindexed last week because Google made a real mistake on their part with a new algorithm tweak? People lost everything for a week or more. Not sure about you, but losing 25% of my income would suck.

None of mine or my client sites were hit. But for those that were hit there is little consolation in the fact that Google said 'oops, our bad' and then tried to roll out a fix for it.
