Good content is important and so is relevant content. Keeping your users informed but not bombarded by you will help. If you post good content regularly it will be better than posting just alot of unrelated content more often.

Post regular quality content and make others useful. Photos and images are a great opportunity for you to connect with others. Add photos very often.

I guess my main goals are:

    a) get fans / likes in the first place
    b) keep fans interested in / sharing my page
    c) post regular content - but what?

In my own opinion if you want to your facebook page to be interesting well your post must have a sense of humor and eye catching topics.

OK, we run a facebook page and I must say it is questionable as to the benefits.
Yes, you can get new clients from it, but my own view is that compared to the old fashioned tools of SEO or even pay per click advertising,
facebook doesn't work as well at generating business.
My inclination is that people use facebook when bored and for entertainment, rather than shopping.
They use Google/Bing when looking to buy!

Content play an important role in facebook marketing, even if you are best with writing. Hire a content writer, ask to write content related to your website / business / products/ service, schedule the messages on facebook in bulk.

    # Post the content related to your business.
    # Few features about the
    # Review of your business. Links with short contents.
    # Get images of your products.
    # Ask your friends about the services, how do they like it.
    # Throw question about the business / related to business.
    # Post links of review of similar product on forum/blogs.
    # You can post short news related to your business.
    # Put links and post related to your country / sports / movies / music [for a change].

If you are unable to post the content, then ask your developer to design few interactive images [Images are best way to market your business], post them and tag your fans.'

I guess, it would help you.

    Thank you
