Good Content ,
1) Please check grammar errors...I found few in the introduction paragraph... ,
2) Use some social networking buttons...like facebook share, twit button, digg button etc...
3) If you want to improve your Ad Location better try moving the Text Link ad on the right side below the Highlights Sidebar
4) Change the Header Banner and make it match your theme![]()

I personally don't like the use of tables.
I also think there should be a date posted date for each article. (unless I've missed it)
There are still empty spaces. I see you seem don't pay much attention on the title? You can make use of it to impress SEs and visitors.
I'd suggest, if possible, expand the width of the design to ~1000 pixels as everything in the visible "real estate" is crammed into small columns and an over all fixed width of 700. The current width, IMO, shows it's age. Also, watch the number of ads above the fold. There is a thread here on that element of page layout. Also, I wouldn't worry about use of tables.

Ditto on the TABLE argument. Some say toMAHto, some say toMAYto. The question of whether tables are a bad thing or not is moot, and was settled years ago. If it works, it works. No matter what we do, we can always make it better. That's where to put one's focus.
