Hey, guys, here's a video in which Matt Cutts says Google does not use GA data in their ranking algo in any manner.

Also, I've watched another Cutts video quite a long time ago, in which he said that click-though rates from the SERPs could help one's site rank higher. Can't find that video, though.

Actually if your site traffic increased your cpc rate increase automatically and if your cpc increased than your site ranking improved.
    What?

Clicks on organic links have no CPC (Cost-per-Click); they are free.

Sponsored Listings do have a CPC; but, the CPC does not increase with increased traffic.

I do believe clickthrough rates have an impact, though I would not swear I heard Matt say it ...

So I guess we really aren't talking about 'traffic,' but Google traffic - since Google won't know how much traffic you actually get.

The same can be said about clicks.

An important distinction lost on many.

And, having made that distinction, it therefore follows that a higher CTR might theoretically harm ones SERP rank, if too many visitors are ping-ponging back and forth between the SERPs and the sites there listed.

And what about making click bots (operating via a proxy server) that click on links to my own sites? We have enough problems with article spinning etc.

so now it is time to care about click bots.

I don't think there is any direct relation beween clicks and SERP ranking.

IMO, owing to the unavoidable inherent vulnerability to being manipulated, Google would look to CTR and bounce rates as factors only with regards to personalized search, using only the user's browsing history on Google in such regards.
