    Anyone born in the seventies or before will no doubt remember the PET, the VIC, and the 64. He leaves a legacy, still amazing to this day.

    I met him when he owned Atari. Very shrewd business man. Unfortunately he made the choice to compete on price instead of style like Steve Jobs did. Watching Jack showed me that whenever you compete on price the only direction you can go is down. But a very cool guy to meet.

    Excellent point you raise, Steve, about competing on price. I'm sure meeting a man like him was a bit of a life changer, eh?

    I wish I had understood more when I met him. I was about 20ish back then and didn't know enough to know what questions to be asking.
