    Leased line requirement for 15 users

    Hi

    I just want to know that what is the bandwidth requirement in Leased line for 15 users.

    1 Mbps or 2 Mbps.

    Please reply.

    Hi,

    Point is not too much how many users you have, it's more the common usage of the internet that they have. If everybody decides to make P2P download, 1 or 2Mbps will not make the difference, but if everybody is using web and mail in a reasonable way, 512kbps is already enough.

    32kbps to 64kbps is a very good bandwidth already for office usage.

    Is this to be a joke? Why not just recommend a 56K POTS modem?

    Still a joke.

    A typical overview page for a classical view web based e-mail client weighs in at 100KB without counting any of the ancillary files loaded or script calls.
