    From what you have said in the Links, it is logical that ultimately our own fault of accepting such links as OBL whereas IBL will not be within our control. It ever happen to me back in the days of link exchange, the site turns out to be 'bad link' when there was a change of ownership. It's kind of hard to check on this links when you own more than 100 sites.

    Matt Cutts on multiple occasions has said that it's nearly impossible to negatively effect another website's rankings. I certainly hope that this is still true. I think it's more likely that when people see their rankings drop, it's because google has changed the value provided from inbound links, or is now passing NO value from those inbound links. I do wonder what the exact trigger is that's causing people to get the dreaded "unnatural links" email from big G.
