Are Flash sites necesarry any more?

Its impossible to stop consumers to stop buying iPads. Other than Flash, you have lots of lots of ways to design interactive websites, interesting designs and animations.

Safe to say: if Flash sites are necessary to you, you better don't buy ipads.

Fact is, at some point a majority of web designers decided that Flash isn't useful for them.
That was when Google took over..

dont waste your time on Flash, It is a dying trend. Many people are focusing on JQuery which offers fantastic user interactivity with boatloads of applications.

It was never a necessity to build a website in flash or so. An interactive website can be designed and developed using other advanced languages etc. Today advanced versions of HTML and CSS also comes handy in making attractive yet light on loading, resources etc. to promote user interest. Anyway it also has some lows like they are not supported in old browsers etc.

To sum things up I will say one should make buying and other decisions based upon his strong likings. Like if a person can sacrifice flash usability for Ipad than he should go for it... We cannot ask for each and everything without getting ready to sacrifice something.
