    Yes, Domain age is the most important factor in the SEO. It is find that if your domain name is too old than it can be ranked top in the SERPs.

    Age is only a side-effect, not a determining factor, as has been mentioned before by MC and others. Authority will always trump age, where quality of result is better (in the 'eyes' of the SE).

    It follows that a site that has been around for awhile, and which has presented authoritative content over the long while, will have gained some PR, but again, this is a side-effect. Panda has shown us that theoretically, the best answer, not the oldest one wins #1 position in the serp.
