Actually I was not impressed by WP e-Commerce s I moved to another plugin called woocommerce.
I got several trouble to integrate the template but beside that seams really nice.

Cart66 has a ton of features, and integrates with Gravity forms. It's also got a ton of features for Paypal integration like subscriptions, memberships or digital downloads.

People have been buying goods online for years now, they expect to see a certain process unfold when shopping online, and when a designer makes radical departures from the status quo, tears may ensue (regardless of how good the designer's intentions may be). Does this mean a designer is locked into reproducing the same old shopping interface again and again?

You could try browsing wordpress's plugin directory. There's a lot of plugins there that enables you to do what you want. You can choose what suits your needs the most. Some of these plugins may be paid but there's ones that's free.
