Yes, sure press release is the best way to increase website visibility and search engine ranking and traffic. PRweb is also good website and I would like to share some press release sites as following:

Pr-inside.com
Npr.org
Betanews.com
Newswiretoday.com
Pr.com
Prleap.com
I know some free website with 6 pagerank called prlog.org,pitchengine dotcom,kazor dotcom,addpr dotcom which gives you a first page result if your write Press release with proper keyword research.
Thank you all for the advices. I have used prlog.org, it wasn't good when it's free, maybe now it's better since it paid now.
I don't know about PR sites that concern too much on keywords, it just doesn't feel right
