My estimate is that Bing will soon overtakt Google as the most popular search engine. Microsoft don't compete with their partners like Google do.

I don't know that I would go so far as to say that yet, until the actual search marketshare starts to resemble their declining reputation, but it would be a welcome sight as far as I am concerned. I am finding Bings results to be far better in most areas than googles as of late.

IMO opinion, the survey data here used are deficient, in that respondents were not provided with "Don't know" choices with respect to the attributes displayed on page 8 of the cited report.

This I know as I participated in the study.

Thanks for sharing, this is first time I approach with Harris Interactive report. I have couple out of topic question:

My estimate is that Bing will soon overtakt Google as the most popular search engine. Microsoft don't compete with their partners like Google do.

1. I does read through the PDF, but not too clear on how Bing may possible overtake Google.

2. is Bing result show improvement? I am Malaysian, I does using Bing search, but does not get relevant result.

3. Is Harris report reliable? In Malaysia the famous survey company is AC Nielsen.
