Inorder to climb to the top of search engines seo is the key and it is a very expensive service if you plan on buying it from an agency.To save me the money are there any free seo tips and services i can use,anybody.

Have you read through the Webmaster Guidelines for each of the major search engines?
Google also has a Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide (opens PDF) you could read through and make yourself a checklist to follow.
That would be a start if you are looking for free information.
You could also spend some time reading through the threads in this SEO section of the forum.

The basic link building practices are usually done for free. You can do blog commenting, forum marketing and even social bookmarking at no cost at your side.
Only when you outsource this free options you have that it won't be free anymore.

Why would you pay for something you can do yourself? Dont be fooled, SEO is really easy, it just takes a whole lot of time and patience. We all just want instant results and thats not how SEO works..

We can minimize the SEO expense by well plan like find some online editors to fill the content, some for building links and some do by our self, buy links for 100-50$... etc
And, if one doesn't know what he's doing, he may very well end up paying to have someone else fix things, at a cost greater than had he simply engaged that other in the first place.
If he's really unlucky, those cheaply priced links could end up being very costly when the site gets banned from the SERPs.
