I see everybody's more and more running to get a good rank in Alexa top.
I have a few questions regarding Alexa rank:
- How is this Alexa rank calculated? It's only an estimate based on the people who installed the alexa extension in their browsers, or is it something more?
- Does this Alela rank has anything to do with SEO? If you're alexa rank/score is lower, you get better positioning in search engines?
- If you SE optimize your website, do you get better Alexa rank?
- Alexa usually shows two figures: Alexa rank and Alexa rank in country. Does the second rank (in country) mean anything?

Alexa rank is Totally depends on your website visitors. Its has no Relation with SEO, But if you can do proper SEO then you will get a good number of Traffic So your site also get a good Alexa Rank.
If you get More traffic then your sites Alexa Rank will be High and if your site get low Number of Traffic then your Site Alexa Rank will be Low Also.
So, if you get more Traffic/ Visitor in your Site then your Website's Alexa Rank will be High.

Social Bookmarking , Blog Commenting or so called link building strategies does help but do remember Content is the King...

Make people naturally visit your site and not by actually posting links where every you can lol....it does not help...links from such sites would only bring a visitor once to your site they will not come back if your site has noting interesting....The core calculation for Alexa Ranking is considered on the amount of people visiting your site...so the more people naturally visiting your site will improve your ranking in alexa
