    Joomla Layout Oddity

Hello, I am having an issue with Joomla site that I have inhereted webmaster support for. There is a column appearing in the layout and I cannot figure out how to remove it.
It is making the content section narrower than it should be and is placed between the content (left) column and the Sidebar (right column).

Any ideas would be great as I am drawing a blank with my limited Joomla knowledge.

the site is www.laperladelcaribe.com and it is using Joomla 1.5.14.

    Thanks
    Rob

I can't answer your question but you may find some answers relating to the theme the site is employing:

    Hi Rob,

I checked the demo and it would appear that you have a module that is in the left module position,

Check your modules and plugins in the administration panel and disable any that are in that position.

The left side of the page is module "left column"

You can check module positions at http://demo.joomlaxtc.com/espresso/i...d=25&Itemid=17

It is more likely to be a module that is enabled but has no content that is visible but that is probably what is causing the gap.

    Hope that helps
    Regards
    Keith

    Thanks!

Of all the 'left' modules that were installed it was the shadowbox module that causing the problems... Disable that and voila!

    Strange...

    Thanks
