    Submitting to Yahoo

I am not sure if this is the right thread to post this question, but I didn't find any other thread which would be more sutable.

I am going to submit my site to Yahoo. Once I read an article that Yahoo doesn't like sites which don't work without JavaScript. My site depends heavily on JavaScript. Does it mean that Yahoo will most probably reject it? I don't want to just loose $300. I would appreciate any information about what can help me to get into Yahoo directory.

Another question is - will getting into Yahoo directory help me with improving my rating in Yahoo? I have read completely opposite opinions regarding this issue, but I tend to think that Yahoo does rate sites which are in its directory higher than those, that are not.

I have never heard of a site being rejected by Yahoo because it used Javascript and in fact many (if not most) site in the Yahoo directory use JS.

Yahoo have stated many times that being listed in the Yahoo directory has no effect whatever on your Yahoo rankings.
