New to AdWords

I'm really new to the adwords but I'm starting a new company and I would like to quickly make my web site relevant in terms of search. Adwords seems like a good way to do it. However I have no idea how to bid for my click. The company name is not yet defined and I still don't have a website, but it will be a tour operator making city tours for those who don't like city tours...
I guess City Tours Lisbon is a good keyword, but they are 3...is that ok to do? and how much do you think it will cost?

And since it looks like you guys know what you're talking about, can you advise me some good tutorials that will help me get the most out of my money?

First of all, have you viewed any threads in the AdWords Forum? If not - that is a great place to start. You will, however, have to judge the sources of the posts you read, as advice is free, and some like to throw it around without real experience or testing. It's pretty easy to tell who has the good advice.
