    Link Farms On Google

Hi all this is my first post on this forum. i have been poping in from time to time and think its about time i stop bitching and said soem thing about this.

well where do i start. i have been getting into this PR on google over the last year or so. i first started my making fake keyword rich pages that just redirected useing flash that wored very well and it got most or my link top. i have now stop this as i dont think its fair and start doing things just with keyword rich URLS, Meta tags & content that still work fine. i was enjoying the high PR and hits i was getting till one day i see my site gone all together. (www.miowpro.com) Search:Guestlist London

so i start looking about, and find my links being used all on one page with other. it seem that the pages are made up from google search results, they just copy the html and list on there site. now the way i see it is by having my link on there page google does not list me cos they can list the other url with more link and info that mine and plus it has my link on that page so my list mine. not you may say this does not do anything but when this first started i got the people to remove my link and i came back again so i take that as i am rite and they are pushing me down. how ever this has go way out of control and too many people have added my link and i cant go around asking them all to remove my url.

so will google stop these link farms, its just making things harder to find. i was looking for a local cinema the other day like i always do and a few months back i could alwasy find it and now i just get loads on link farm ITS A JOKE :@

so what do you think about this.

    have a look at: www.god.co.uk/guestlist/guestlist_london/ guestlist_london.html

they had my link but have now removed the url but left the keywords :(

As long as your don't link back to those link farms or participate, then you won't have any problems.
Follow me on Twitter, I'm bhartzer or like my page on Facebook.

ok you say that they dont hurt me but why am i not list on the first page any more then? i was there before and as soon at they added my link they was there and i was not.

i ran a test and i was rite. i havd a page with my link on and lots more and that site got listed and not mine so i removed my link and to came back up on google.

your test is interesting, but I want you to clarify -
did you create your own 'link farm' type page on one of your domains to test - or add your link to a link farm owned by someone else?
I wonder if Google is playing with ways to solve the problem with all the directories getting listed, and competing with the sites that pay to be in those directores and also get a link on Googles SERPs too....maybe google figures if you pay to be on a directory thats on the SERPs - you dont need to be in the SERPs too??? That would be horrible....
