Anyone with personal experience on this? Or any good article links to suggest?
So have we reached a consensus for Eric24's original question?

Can we assume that the value of keywords in URLs is diminishing (as far as the algorithm goes and according to the SEOMoz data) but having your keywords in your domain name is still powerful for gaining the right link text?

I had this issue before about my domain name then I talk to one of my friend he used to work for online advertizing and he gave some advice. My site is about electronics and my url was servicetron.com then he added a few words like "electronics help online | sevicetron.com" sense then I'm getting more traffic than it was, after that every month I add and change different keyword on my domain. This help a lot for my site. I hope this will help you too.

The issue is about what weight SEs give to keywords in URLs with regards to SERP ranking; nothing more.

I personally dont think its too important. You are talking about the file naming convention of pages on your site. All those dashes seem pretty spammy to me. I limit my dashes to 2, but think that the actual content on those pages is more important. Focus on Title Tags, Meta Description, H1 tags and content. And then anchor text to these pages. Thats what will get you ranked, not the name of the page...
