Looks like Google is going by its statement “Google is constantly experimenting with new features”. There are confirmed reports which says that Google is doing search experiments. It says that new search results are also displaying”Sources” in the search results. Nice that you will get several pieces of information on a query from different sources

Just more junk cluttering the screen in place of organic SERPs. Pretty soon the whole page will be nothing but content that Google wants the user to see.

What is exciting about having the core functionality of a search engine being perverted by Google for its own gain.

I think google will become more and more user friendly and easy to use for keywords searches.Google is trying to make visitors happy enough to use its tool.

I'm not sure if this is new or not, but what I see in the SERPs, when adding the word "in" to a Google query like "graphic design in {add location}", the SERP page inflates with Places locations, showing only one Organic listing above the fold - at least that's the resuts as I see on my monitor configuration.

Google's sole interest is in addicting enough of the undiscriminating users and freebie seekers so as to have both a large store of individualized data for making targeted advertising more effective, and eyes that will see and click on its ads, which provide the overwhelming majority of its revenues.

Google is an advertising firm masquerading as an IT services provider.

The change which you here herald is a deliberate perversion of the function of a search engine.

I do not agree with this. . From my perspective the initial and original search concept was brilliant . . All google is accomplishing is to gradually whittle away bit by bit every inherent natural advantage they were created with.

They have a total disrespect of themselves that is rarely seen outside of self abusing mental patients, and less respect for their users. ( 'users' as in addicts). .
