I like the main logo, very cute. But I would also consider changing the font on it to make it a bit more interesting, the text itself is a little boring. My main criticism about this page would be that there are far too many colors going around. You have green background with white text, then a different shade of green with slightly yellow text below it. Pick a color theme, keep your greens and whites consistent. You really shouldn't have more than 4-5 colors elements on the page.

I love doing website reviews. I like seeing the creativity others come up with. Like your site. I really like it, and its not just because I have a soft spot for plush toys. The design is great, the overall layout is good. Just the background and the header takes a while to load but that could be my internet speed.

From an SEO perspective, you could work on that a little. You can incorporate your company name in the page title, and you need to add your meta description. This is a tag used by search engines like Google when they index your site. If the bots can't find meta descriptions of a site they would use a snippet from the content on your site. If you use the tag and maybe even specify where you are (UK, Europe etc.) you could get targeted traffic from areas closer to you as well.

Other than that, I really like it and hope that the site does well for you.

Nice site, but would be interesting to change the gray background into some good fiber texture background it would give that worm feeling of home and teddybear dolls that we are used to, so try it, maybe you will get even nicer look. And yes, the header picture (with teddybears) is loading a little too long, so optimize it.

    Hi Teddybearland

Have to agree, very nice site. The description tag looks good and even if thh whole tag is not used at least the good stuff is at the beginning.

You might enlarge the dropdown menu text a little. It's just a litle small.

I tried your teddy logo in jpg and gif. The jpg comes out at 347kb whilst the gif is at 142kb. Now I didn't see much of a loading issue but my bandwidth is excellent. However, not all are blessed with rapido internet. The .gif file does not lose any clarity. Let me know by response if you cannot change your current png and I'll happily email it to your sales@ address.

    Good Luck

The color combinations are dull. But lots of scopes are there. I've not seen such a Long Meta Description Tag (612 chars.)!!! I've not found your sitemap.xml file also.

Since site:teddybearland.co.uk yields approx. 1400 results, I doubt that discovery is now a problem.

I think that grey background distracts from the main body of the site. Also I think that the product images are really what will sell product and endear/engage customers. With some of the busy backgrounds its hard to focus on the cute little animals.

    hope that helps.
