Help me to understand campaign keyword

I am newbie in Adword. i just started to understand it from one report from excel sheet. Now in that report There is Campaign name Bronx Area Local and Keyword is '+storage +unit now i have several confusions. i understand what is the meaning of + sign in that but i am not sure about ' sign. and how i should search that keyword in Adword and how it work there? Is People really searching this way means using + sign or it is for ad display only? also there is need to write Bronx Area Local and than write keyword storage unit? or i should just search storage unit and ad should be appear?

Note: While i am searching Bronx Area Local storage unit ad is being displayed while i am searching only storage unit it is not. i am confused It should be like this?

    Your questions are most unclear.

If you do not have an AdWords account, or access to one, how is it that you are asking about AdWords reports?

For the moment, all that can be said is the the "+" symbol is not part of users' query strings, but is a "broad match type" modifier used by an advertiser. See AdWords Help: Broad Match Modifier Overview.

Okay; now it's becoming a bit clearer.

Is the spreadsheet that you were given a report that was generated from the AdWords account itself, and showing results? Or, one created locally to show just what is being bid on?

I am not sure about that. Just pasting some portion it would help you to understand Excel sheet. Here it is not in that format but you will get idea (column wise)
    Campaign Keyword Max. CPC
    Bronx Area Local '+storage +unit $7.50
    Bronx Area Local '+storage +locker $7.50
    Bronx Area Local '+pod +storage $7.50
    Bronx Area Local '+storage +facility $7.50
    Bronx Area Local '+mini +storage $7.25

Here Bronx Area Local is a campaign name, than keyword on which ad should be display

In your opening post you said
While i am searching Bronx Area Local storage unit ad is being displayed while i am searching only storage unit it is not.
Taken together with the spreadsheet data this evidences that the actual keyword phrase is the Campaign Name shown in the 1st column of the spreadsheet, plus the Keywords shown in the 2nd column.

The single-quote in the 2nd column is just a formatting symbol that tells Excel that the data following it are Text; in its absence, the plus symbol would be taken as the start of a Formula, one that would, of course, be incomplete, and yield an Error display of #NAME?.

So, for the 1st row of your spreadsheet, the actual keyword phrase is Bronx Area Local +storage +unit, a Modified Broad Match Phrase with "storage" and "unit" being potentially matched by words in the users' query strings similar in meaning.
