    It is not clear what you mean, as .in is a Top Level Domain (TLD); a Domain Name would be that which precedes it.

    The complete form is DomainName.TLD, as in My_Site_Name.in.

    It's fine, there are no restrictions with using a .in domain name for a company, If you want to see all of the policies associated with .in registrations check out inregistry.in (the central authority for that tld.)

    Setting aside the fact that .in is a TLD, i.e. not something that appears in the Domain Name proper, the OP's question speaks to "legal" issues, not Registration restrictions.

    We'll have to wait for the OP to return and clarify the question.
