    That is true.
Writing good, original content is not easy. People who have expertise on a subject -- and the talent to explain what they know to people who don't -- are rare. I guess that's why I like coming to this forum. Every time I read something that you guys have posted about some deep, complicated issue with web development, I think "geesh...that answer was worth some real cash." Sincerely, the contribution you guys make to this forum is awesome.

Darkspark: On another note, I am in need of a crapload of stock photos from photographers, with resale license, anything and everything. I am presuming you are one by your site, so what can we work out?

The truth is, it means sticking your neck out. That is all.

That's not being lazy --- that's just being smart about keeping ownership of intellectual property. If on the other hand you were asking people to write about their pets, you'd probably get buried with entries. It's just that you've picked a tough venue, that's all.
I'll have to agree on this one. I write really good tutorials for my own blog and they generate thousands of dollars are year in additional revenue. Lately it seems to be the tutorials are a major differentiator on why clients are choosing me over someone else. So, it's not that I was too good to participate, I just couldn't hand over such a valuable income generator for a small price. The economics just didn't make sense. Now, perhaps a tutorial in this forum would achieve the same thing. I don't know. I just know that a good tutorial, that fills a void in the tutorial marketplace, and that will be sought out by users, is tough to come by. So I write tutorials exclusively for my blog to build my brand AND to be generous with my knowledge. I get my yah-yahs out and make money. So that's why I didn't participate. I wanted too, as I just love this forum and the people on it, but I just couldn't.
