There's a legal definition of "evil?"![]()
Well, I am being glib of course, but the criminal law distinguishes betweenmalum in se

well that didn't work, but malum in se, evil in itself, like murder....versus malum prohibitum, which is evil because we prohibit it and for no other reason.

So, if found to be engaging in anticompetitive ways, Google would be the latter evil?
Not sure, I always associate it with the old common law crimes, I kind've want to see murder, assault, larceny, burglary, robbery, fraud, arson, etc.....Anti-competitive.....I would say it depends, for instance if they're blocking market entrants, that's a figurative assault, but if they go about their business well and form say, a monopoly, there's nothing particularly evil about forming a monopoly in and of itself, it's he consequence of unhindered market power.....Perhaps intent matters? We don't spend that much time on it, I assure you.....

In this particular instance, I was thinking of anticompetitive actions that violate the Law; e.g., in the US, Sherman.
I wish I had their accountant on my roll LOL
