    I'm interested in joining Google Groups for my website. I've noticed that a few forum threads I've posted to are considered Google Groups by aboutus . com but I thought Google Groups were groups created via the Google home page and not with third party software, so I'm confused by what is and is not a Google Group?

    What I'm really after is Google Groups related to my website, is there a way of checking if a website is considered a Google Group?
