Manufacturer, eCommerce Based, Seeks Same and/or Seasoned eCommerce GENIUS
In the mid 2000s we invested in a floundering small brick and mortar specialty car parts manufacturer vowing to grow it based solely on an online model.
After many years of blood, sweat and tears we finally got the formula 80% right, selling our proprietary, branded, premium niche products worldwide with a good measure of reward both monetary and with significant brand awareness.
Based both in North America and in the European Union we discovered several things:
A. eCommerce is much less global than everyone is lead to believe i.e. eMarketing must take place in the language of the buyer and be based within reasonable shipping distance/cost.
B. Growth is limited by the amount of low cost, high margin, proprietary branded products one can get online AND consolidating COGS.
C. Real, focused, eCommerce expertise is very hard to find and mostly is diluted into several individuals and not in one Super eCommerce "Guru".
We presently have three product lines;
The first we are uncontested online market leader
The second, a larger more fragmented market, where we still have considerable room to grow
The third, just getting off the ground but quite promising unrelated to the first two with its own brand and products
We are looking for:
A fellow manufacturer with proprietary, PREMIUM low cost high margin branded products who wishes to sell into the 16-35 year old mostly male dominated testosterone heavy aftermarket car parts market or wishing to address that market group both in the US and in Europe to share resources.
An eCommerce GENIUS, with highly successful international eCommerce bottom line boosting credentials interested in real GLOBAL eGrowth (All peddlers of various, so called added value eCommerce services please refrain from replying, we have seen them all and have NOT found any that contributed significantly to our bottom line and paid through the nose to find out)
