Hi Everyone,
I want a honest review of a logo design for a photography company I getting ready to send over. There are five comps in the pdf tell me what you think.

Your lines are too fine. Logos should scale more gracefully, or they'll look bad when enlarged or used small.
1. Eh.
2. No.
3. No, no no.
4. This is going in the right direction.
5. Eh. Honestly, cameras are cheesy.
Think of something original. For example, http://www.dustydoddridge.com
It's not "original" necessarily, but it's different -- an aperture, of course.
The pink is nice and contrasty.
Thanks.
The replies above interest me because in both cases they dislike the camera sample. If I looked at the logo from a users perspective I think the camera tells half the story immediately and actually like it being part of the logo because at a glance I will know it is something to do with photography. Unfortunately I dislike the rest of the logo. Samples 1 and 4 are clean simple and easy to read, while Sample 3 has meaning but I believe is a little congested, or maybe I just don't like it because it keeps saying "Thelma & Louise" to me and not 'Melia Louise', but perhaps that is an age thing!
IMO I prefer 1 and 4, but would possibly add a small camera, or polaroid into the mix to help with customer recognition, but clean and simple tends to work better in the long run, and more easily converts to the various media. Of course, at the end of the day the photographer will have the last say, and her opinion may be completely different again!

I like them all except #2. Logo #5 is OK without the camera. The very best one however is #4. Give your client #4 and see what the feedback is.
Here's a question though: do you or does your client plan to make/use a white version of this logo? You may want to make an alternate version of this logo in white (with the text in black) to see if the pink still looks good with it.
I like your 5th Logo. But the "Photography" font is very dull. Please replace with some attractive font.
5th one is very much attractive.
Out of the 5 I like 4 the best. The camera looks too much like clip art.
3rd and 4th ones are good.
