If you don't use the last version, upgrade. It is more stable than any earlier version I have used.

Emptying the cache might help. Not sure... but it can't hurt too much...

Caches are self-managed on a FIFO basis. The worst that a full cache can cause is a temporary hang.

First off, you need to upgrade from Windows 95 as it is a 16 bit OS and FF is 32 bit so that causes bad things.
Second, disable some or all of your addons, don't go to porn sites and try to download >5 videos at once, and come tell us some details so we can help properly.*
If none - hey! I know why you haven't returned. Your browser keeps crashing before WPW loads, a common occurance for me.

Have a look in Event viewer/Windows Logs/Applications and see what is the error code. If you double click the event you can go on Event log Online Help. Sometimes it helps. Delete Internet Temp files. Make sure you not infected by virus! Delete History. If all fails, uninstall and install again. Lots of reasons why it keeps crashing.

How many users do you know that have Event logging fully turned on?

FF temp. files are not easy for the uninitiated to find; they are neither in, nor named like, the IE folders.
