Looking for assistance w/ automatic phone dial

Hi there,

Hope I'm in the right place! I'm looking for an ap or some code that automatically dials a phone number when you hit it on a mobile phone. I've been trying to find something online, but no luck so far. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

From a website? Most mobile phone browsers already pick phone numbers out from text and allow you to call them with one click so no programming is required. Skype does the same thing on browsers as part of the Skype software. Again, no programming required.

From an app? Depends on what operating system you are targeting, etc.

I thought it was a browser issue, not a programming issue but my client was adamant he'd "seen it somewhere". And I really don't want to get into apps, my skills do not extend that far!
