Can sitemap.xml be resubmited to Google everyday?

Aim at bad indexed state of my site, many people suggest that you should add new content to the site, update the sitemap.xml and make Google know the update of the site. yes, I always do this, However, I am now puzzled that should I update the sitemap.xml everyday and resubmit the updated sitemap.xml to Google everyday through Google webmaster, the premise is that new content is added to my site every day.

You could submit every day but that might not be enough time for google to crawl and index all the pages anyway. If you have bad indexing maybe have alook at your internal linking structure or submit sitemaps regurlarly and be patient untill they have been fully crawled.

Maybe try having a static html site map on a dedicated page with links to every other page on your site. Link to it from the home page footer, keep that updated and google will find your deeper pages eaisly on it's own

If it's new content you will probably get more bang for the $ by spreading the word. Syndicate your content in an RSS feed, post it on Facebook, tweet about it.

Your sitemap does not tell Google to index things now. Google mainly references it when it does indexing and generally only if it has issues where it may use the sitemap as the decider.

Submitting your sitemap everyday will not help anything. The only time that you need to worry about resubmitting a site map is when you have changes. I use wordpress for many of my sites and it does all the submitting and pinging for me. I would just leave it there and worry about creating better content, better internal linking, and a better url structure. Also make sure that you have a regular html site map page to go along with the one that you are submitting to google.

You should be submitting your sitemap.xml to google only when you have some new content to be cached in Google
