    Bidding Directories - is it worth to submit?

    I have a few questions regarding bid directories: is it worth to submit websites to bidding directories?
    Didn't they lost their value after the last PR update? How much are they useful today?

    IMO, yes..but shop around as the pricing is quite wide and dont get too spamy with your anchor text, btw my opinion is based on sucess with gaining traction in serps and not my own directory : )

    I've used bid directories with high PR before but now I'm curious: will my website get the same benefit for SERP as before?
    Did Google reduce weight of links from bid directories?
