I haven't done alot with flash, but when I did, I always remember staying away from using the newer features that flash was offering. If they just released a version with new sort of multi-media or authoring capability I just wouldn't use it because it would cause problems.

Maybe you are doing something fancy with the flash object? Maybe if you take the time to go over the flash file and how it is authored you might find a way to make it simpler?

Or... if you have the time, why not just strip elements out of the flash file, and try different versions until you find the item causing the problem? Maybe you are linking to resources which are bad, or non-existent or something like that?

Wish I could help, but you look to be at the mercy of Flash and Explorer. Have you tried upgrading flash?

    Hope that helps.

Make sure you are using the lastest flash detection and initiation javascript from Adobe and don't simply have a one line create object call. I think the Adobe js file is called AC_OETags.js, but like the previous poster, I rarely use flash. The flash I do use I have not touched in years. Hope this helps. Good luck.

First you have an old flash player version installed. But your many of your website visitors will have too.
So save your flash object in an older version.
