    html text over graphics

I'm wondering whether it's possible to place html text over a rollover graphic. The reason I'm exploring this is that the required text is quite small and loses enormous clarity if it's displayed instead as part of the graphic.

The idea is to have both the html text and graphic roll over to secondary text/graphics when the mouse is atop.

Thanks a million if you can help!

    do it with CSS

Yes, that can be done by using CSS.

You can "control" the text mouseover effect
AND your can specify a "background" graphic
for the normal and mouseover (hover) state.
